RALEIGH, NC – Triangle Spokes Group is honored to be the charity of record for Merry Mingle 2013, to be held on Tuesday, Dec. 3 at Cobblestone Hall in the historic City Market in downtown Raleigh. Presented by the Triangle chapters of UXPA, AAF, AMA, TIMA and AIGA, Merry Mingle is the premiere opportunity to network with the region’s top advertising, marketing and communications organizations while contributing to a great cause. Merry Mingle aims to donate $10,000 to Triangle Spokes Group from this event through ticket sales and a raffle, which would purchase 143 brand-new bikes and helmets for children in need in our community. Triangle Spokes Group gives them away in December through the Salvation Army of Wake County’s Toy Shop program. This year the Salvation Army will be helping to bring holiday joy to over 5,000 families and 8,800 children. Triangle Spokes Group will be donating 550 brand new bicycles and helmets through a lottery to those families, and would like to recognize Merry Mingle’s sponsors for their generosity in helping us reach this goal:

About Triangle Spokes Group:
Triangle Spokes Group is a nonprofit organization that distributes new bicycles and helmets to need-worthy children throughout the Triangle area. 100% of the money donated to the Triangle Spokes Group goes directly toward the purchase of bicycles and helmets. All administrative fees and overhead costs are covered out of pocket by the founding members of the Triangle Spokes Group. $70 covers the cost of a brand new bike, helmet and assembly.
